Interview Expert
How it works

One question. Many takes. Real coaching.

Most interview prep apps try to simulate the interview. We do the opposite — we strip the pressure away so you can deliberately practice the questions you're going to face. Here's exactly what that looks like.

01

Pick a question

Open the Question Browser on your home screen. Browse a curated bank organized by interview arc — warmup, experience, situational, role-fit, motivation — or generate questions tailored to your specific role and target company.

Each question is tagged with mastery status: not attempted, in progress, mastered. You always know where to focus next.

02

Record your answer

Tap the question. Tap to record. Speak naturally — like you would in the interview itself. The app captures your transcript, speaking pace, pause patterns, and filler words automatically.

No artificial time pressure, no countdown, no "you have 90 seconds". The point is to do this answer well, not perform under fake stakes.

03

Get coached — the killer feature

This is where most prep tools stop and we just begin. After you record, an AI coach (encoded with hiring-manager perspective from international firms) returns:

  • Inline annotations on your transcript — every filler, weak phrase, grammar issue, or word-choice problem highlighted with a specific suggestion and a corrected example sentence you can listen to and repeat.
  • Three alternative phrasings of your full answer, in three different styles: Concise, Assertive, Storytelling. So you can find the version that feels most like you.
  • Pronunciation drills for words the coach noticed you stumbled on, with practice sentences.
  • A coaching summary — what worked, what didn't, what to focus on next time.
  • Everything bilingual — English and 繁體中文 side-by-side. Toggle whichever feels right per section.
04

Refine alternative phrasings out loud

Found an alternative phrasing you love? Practice saying it. The Improve tab lets you record yourself saying each alternative — with vs. without the text visible — and scores your accuracy and fluency against the target.

This is how a sentence moves from "I read it once" to "I can deliver it under pressure."

05

Master, then move on

When your score on a question crosses 80, it's marked Mastered. The home screen shows your progress across the bank at a glance. You always know which questions are sharp and which still need reps.

A note on what we don't do

  • No 60-minute mock simulations. They feel impressive in the demo but don't teach you anything specific. Volume of focused reps beats one realistic session every time.
  • No streak gamification that turns daily logins into the metric. The metric is whether your answers improve.
  • No accounts or cloud sync required to start. Everything runs locally on your iPhone first, syncs when you want.
